Jennifer Hudson 'Fine' Not Being a Size Two

Jennifer Hudson is the latest spokesperson for Weight Watchers, and while she is looking to get healthy, she's not looking to whittle down to the size of some of her Hollywood peers.

Though she has been called the "big girl" on "American Idol," Us Weekly reports that the star says she has "never really felt pressure to say, 'OK, I need to be a size 2, a size 0."

"For the most part, I've been asked to stay the same [size] -- 'This is your image, this is who you are, you should stay here,' which is fine with me," Hudson said.

After having a baby in August, Hudson has battled with baby weight. She was drawn to Weight Watchers, according to her blog, because there were no odd foods to eat and she could be guaranteed to find a Weight Watchers-approved meal anywhere.

"It's a lifestyle change, not a diet," the mother of 7-month-old David Daniel Otunga Jr. told People magazine. "I can follow the plan no matter where I am, still enjoy my favorite foods and even use the iPhone app to track my points."

Realistic goals, experts say, are best to keep dieters from getting discouraged early on. Most encourage long-term and short-term goals. The first gives you an ideal that you're constantly striving to accomplish. The second gives you a way to mark your improvement and keep you motivated along the way.

Hudson's weight has been in flux since gaining 20 pounds for Dreamgirls. She lost 60 pounds after filming through diet and exercise, going from a size 22 to a size 12, but would like to lose more weight.

Following a weight-loss plan that offers a lot of support should help her with her goal, and her favorite exercise -- stair runs -- won't hurt either.
