binkiniNot happy with how you look from behind? You're in luck -- a new push-up bra for butts is literally holding up the rear for people around the world.

Yes, while most people spend hours at the gym trying to shrink their backside, the Biniki has been developed specifically for those who think their butts need a serious boost -- think J-Lo's famous derriere and you get the picture. The Biniki claims to lift the buttocks, define the curve of your backside and smooth out the back of the thighs, all without leaving any visible lines.

It was developed by California psychologist Karin Hart, who admits that she used to wrap her bum in adhesive tape to the get the kind of butt lift she wanted. "Most people would agree that the breasts and the buttocks look best when held high on the body," she told the UK's Daily Mail. "When I lost some weight, I looked for a derriere lift in stores. Since I couldn't find one I decided to make something for myself to get the boost I wanted."

And that's how the Biniki came to be. Designed with flat and saggy bums in mind, it's meant to particularly appeal to those who've lost weight and found that their curvy backside has shrunk along with the rest of their body. It consists of a secure band around the waist, which anchors two smaller straps that wrap around either cheek to give them a boost. It can either be worn over underwear or as underwear if you purchase 'The Throng.'

The Biniki available in several different colors, but you're not really buying it for the looks -- in fact, it more closely resembles some sort of of bizarre S&M harness than it does a pair of panties. And guys, don't worry -- it's not just us girls who get to have all the fun -- 'The Maniki' is available in your size, too. Prices range from $20 to $39.99, depending on which product you think will give you the most bang for your butt. User reviews of the product on Feeling Foxy have described it as everything from "amazing" to "like wearing a jock strap."

I'm not entirely convinced that this kind of apparatus is necessary -- but then again, I've never had any flat butt issues. What's your take: Is this a necessary piece of shapewear or just another useless product?
