Review:
This Cary, N.C., Gold's Gym is not your stereotypical Gold's Gym. Instead of being packed with ripped body builders, the clientele on a typical weekday afternoon includes a mixture of senior citizens, stay-at-home moms and exercisers on their lunch break. The average person, regardless of their fitness level, would not feel self-conscious working out at this gym.
The gym is located in a great part of Cary that is convenient to major highways. It is extremely clean and well-kept. This Gold's Gym boasts state-of-the-art weight training machines, numerous free weights and a cardio facility that includes a theater. In the theater, members can watch a different movie everyday on a DLP projector while working out on elliptical machines, cross trainers, upright bikes and step machines. All movies are Rated G, PG or PG-13.
Members can also attend an unlimited amount of group exercise classes, such as yoga, Pilates, strength training and aerobics at no extra cost. The staff is very kind, helpful and tries to promote the best fitness program for each individual member. Generally, there is someone at the front desk to greet entering guests. Fitness consultant Nick Kalsi is extremely personable, genuine and does an excellent job working with every member who seeks his assistance, regardless of his or her all budget types.
The downside to this gym is that it is very small and cramped. The machines' placement leaves very little room between those who are working out. However, avoiding peak hours may alleviate the cramped feeling.
Overall, this Cary Gold's Gym is worth the money you'll pay for it. And should a member ever tire of this location, he or she can always visit another location for free.
Check out how to pick the best gym for you.
