Review:
When you head downtown towards historic Southern Pines, you cannot help but notice Gold's Gym. Its new paint job really makes it stand out. The entire building is painted in a red and black scheme more reminiscent of a race car then a gym. The front entrance of the gym is completely reworked, too. The counter is clean, well-stocked and there is always someone behind the counter ready to greet you.
Once inside the gym, you'll find plenty of universal equipment for every aspect of your fitness. There are lat pull down machines, as well as leg extension, leg press and arm curl machines, and much more. Along the far wall there is a great selection of free weights. You are provided with a variety of dumbbells, barbells, various benches and racks. In the back of the gym there is a full service Cardio Deck. There are plenty of open treadmills, exercise bikes and elliptical machines.
Behind the cardio deck, there are group exercise classes going on. A glance at the schedule revels that they offer Les Mill Classes, Body Pump, Body Flow and Body Jam, among others. The class schedule is coordinated with the free daycare to make it easy for busy parents to attend classes.
Check out how to pick the best gym for you.
