Godiva Truffles: How Many Calories?

How Many Calories Posted on Feb 10th 2010 11:00AM by Bev Sklar
Last weekend meant endless Super Bowl nachos, now this weekend your sweetie is handing you truffles for Valentine's Day. It's difficult to stay trim with all that fat and chocolate, but don't blame the revolving holidays on your eating habits. It's always a choice to go for thirds on the nachos or wipe out an entire box of truffles in a single evening.

When it comes to sweets and snacks, moderation is the word. If you're in love this Valentine's Day (remember, it's not everyone's holiday), arm yourself with self-control this Sunday. You may be handed a gorgeous golden box of Godiva truffles.

How many calories in four Godiva milk chocolate truffles?

A live-chat with Crystal over at Godiva reveals four milk chocolate truffles have about 420 calories and nearly 26 grams of fat. And you know how fast you can pop four truffles. Don't think the extra dark chocolate truffles are necessarily any better, either. Antioxidants aside, there's slightly more fat and calories.

So, toss in two extra workouts this week to compensate for one more holiday stacked with chocolate. Refusing a gift from your Valentine is not an option, especially if it's Godiva. But you can take the Valentine's Day diet insurance and bank a few hundred calories to compensate. Here's a yoga pose of the week to get you started.
