Review:
Although Fremont, Nebraska is home to just 26,000 people, the Fremont Family YMCA has much to offer. On Saturday mornings, the facility is abuzz with little league basketball teams, lifeguard training for teenagers and individuals of all ages working out in the spacious cardio area.
The building is well maintained and the front desk staff is friendly and knowledgeable, which is probably one of the reasons this YMCA is ranked the second highest in the nation. The gym contains state-of-the-art equipment for both those who would like to strength train or increase their aerobic fitness. The indoor ice-skating rink is a highlight of the YMCA, drawing local college teams.
There are also classes available for children through seniors, as well as classes that will entertain people from various ages and fitness levels.
