Address: 10601 47th Place West, Mukilteo, Wash., 98057
Phone: (425) 493-9622
Web site: http://www.ymca-snoco.org
Amenities:
Monthly fee/contract information: $120 joining fee for all members. There's also a monthly fee that ranges from $23 for a youth membership to $87 for a two-adult family membership.
Review:
The YMCA Mukilteo Family Branch is a clean, well-kept facility that was renovated and expanded in 2009. The star attraction of this branch is the large aquatic facility. Adults can swim laps and take water aerobics year round. Children's swim lessons are also available.
The cardio and weight room has an adequate number of ellipticals, treadmills, stationary bikes and weight machines. However, there are not enough free weights or a large enough variety of free weights.
A studio hosts yoga and Pilates classes. Karate classes are offered for an additional charge. The men's and women's locker rooms are spacious and clean with a steam room in each.
In addition to the many fitness opportunities, there are family and specialty programs available. These programs include daycare, teen fitness programs and family activities.
