Review:
The Centennial Hills YMCA has a brightly colored water park and sleek, modern design that make it immediately attractive. The gym is a good size with enough space for all visitors to park in the adjacent lot.

Signing up for a memberships is quick and efficient thanks to an informative and friendly desk staff.

The indoor/outdoor pool, free childcare and game room make the facility family-friendly. Boy Scouts, basketball leagues, summer camps, dance and martial art programs also appeal to children. Silver Fit programs are available for seniors.

The YMCA offers a wide variety of fitness classes, ranging from '80s-themed cycle classes to 90-minute yoga and energetic kickboxing. Instructors are fit, engaging and informative.

The weight/ cardio room, though not large, contains ample bikes, elliptical machines and treadmills. There's also a wide range of free weights and machines.

Towels are always available in the locker rooms and fitness areas. Machines and workout equipment are wiped down after each use, and overall, the facility appears to be clean and in good order. Hours are fairly reasonable, except the facility is closed on Sundays during part of the year.

Cleanliness, friendliness and an intuitive design make this YMCA a motivating fitness experience and an easy choice for the Las Vegas area.
