julianne hough dvdJulianne Hough, the two-time "Dancing With the Stars" champ, left the hit show to pursue her singing career after winning the fourth and fifth seasons, and being the youngest professional dancer ever to have competed on it. The trim 23-year-old country crooner is also busy recording her second album and filming her first major motion picture, "Burlesque," co-starring one of her own idols, Cher.

Julianne took a break from her hectic schedule to talk to That's Fit about acting, dancing, and how she stays in such amazing shape:

That's Fit: Have you filmed any scenes with Cher yet? That's a big deal!
Julianne Hough:
Oh, I'm so excited to shoot with her but we haven't filmed together yet! It's thrilling. I'm filming in LA and having a blast with all these girls. I am so excited to be in this movie.

TF: What inspired you to film your dance-inspired exercise DVDs, Cardio Ballroom and Dance Body Tone?
JH:
When I meet with my fans at shows, they really want to know exactly how I stay in shape on the road, so I wanted to pass on my good, healthy information. I want everyone to get in shape and I'd like my DVDs to also represent the way I dance, sort of an insider's scoop of Dancing with the Stars. You don't have to be a dancer to do my choreography, and you don't even need a partner for the DVDs. If you're not a natural dancer, you can rewind over and over again until you get it right, and along the way I want you to have fun and get fit, lose weight and feel inspired!

TF: What do you do on your time off?
JH:
I love outdoorsy activities. I was born in Utah, and I love to be outside in the snow, my big hobby is snowboarding and being outside with my friends. In the summer, I enjoy wakeboarding and all other water sports.

TF: What exactly do you eat to stay long, lean and lithe? Give us a quick take on your daily diet.
JH:
Breakfast is a yogurt or a smoothie, some fruit maybe. I usually eat bigger at lunch. Almost every day for lunch, I crave a maple-baked salmon salad with grapes, walnuts and that's my lunch staple, apple slices too. For dinner, I may have some type of grilled fish and steamed veggies, brown rice, I tend to eat really healthy.

TF: What's your major pig-out food, tell the truth. You can't be this perfect!
JH:
Last night, I went to the movies with my friends and had my favorite bad foods all in one sitting: I ate two movie hot dogs and a mountain of movie popcorn. How's that for a pig-out? I don't do that every day though.
