Kim Kardashian Sued by Cookie Diet Doctor

Kim Kardashian has been served a batch of unsavory legal papers from the creator of Dr. Siegal's Cookie Diet.

The reality TV star recently fired off a cease and desist letter to the cookie makers, accusing them of falsely stating she endorsed the diet on their web site.

Dr. Siegal countered by filing his own lawsuit yesterday against Kardashian, claiming she made false statements on Twitter by calling the Cookie Diet "unhealthy." He also alleges that Kardashian had "commercial motive" for the attack because she is a spokesperson for the company's rival, QuickTrim.

The CEO of Dr. Siegal's Cookie Diet, Matthew Siegal, told RadarOnline.com, "We received a letter a week ago asking us to remove a link to a news story (that we did not write) on our website that implied she was using and endorsing our product. And although we did this, we discovered that more than a month before she had made her comments on Twitter claiming our product was unhealthy while somebody also leaked a letter from her lawyers to our company to a celebrity website. We felt betrayed by the leaking of this letter and my father, Dr. Siegal, who invented the product 35 years ago, was personally offended by her claims."

Siegal added, "My message to Kim Kardashian is that we have no animosity against her personally, but that she should act more responsibly and not say false statements about our brand while endorsing another one at the same time."

While Kardashian admits to eating Oreos on her Twitter page, she makes no mention of any other cookies and continues to endorse QuickTrim and hitting boot camp to keep her sweet figure these days.

I'd say that Matthew Siegal, in his snittiness, just sealed the fate of his own demise. I wouldn't eat one of his snitty cookies after that little snit fit. What an immature, picky uni little whiner who plays tit for tat with a cat (Kardashian) who doesn't even give a rat's pa toot about him or his cookies. He simply used her (egregiously) to get himself publicity. Newsflash...The world hates whiners and they're old enough to know that cookie diets are gimmicks and gimmicks don't work. Find a new business.

Agreed. Can't believe it was an MD that came up with this. It IS unhealhty, and it is a starvation diet when you look at the total number of calories.

Besides - think of who has bought into it - certaintly not the slimmest of celebrities.

Cookie diet = dead. Eat your veggies and get off your butt and start moving.

For those of you who think she's fat......um......we know you do not respect women and only value them as sex objects. She is not fat. If we would all stop reading these articles (I know, me included), these people would slowly fase away and our society would be better for it.

Secondly,please excuse the typos the my previous comment...thirdly,i am on a small lission to lose 20 pounds and did order the cookie diet which i still have in a storage unit in our house.I have lost 5 pounds so far by just eating in a healthier fashion.When i first tried one of thier cookies it was basically unedible!simply gross!!!why i still have it is beyond me?????should return it its so bad but that would be acting in such away as Dr.Seigals son is doing...There are certain things you just dont do in life....
