Carrie Underwood Shows Off Her Bikini Body

Carrie Underwood
has come a long way since her 2005 American Idol debut when, despite her obvious singing talent, the media criticized her "fuller figure."

Underwood continues to give the media something to talk about, but this time it's the country singer's bikini-clad body that's making headlines. The 26-year-old star was recently spotted looking fitter and more fabulous than ever while vacationing in the Bahamas.

Perhaps her hockey-playing beau, Mike Fisher, has inspired Underwood to get physical. Earlier this year, Underwood told Oprah that she makes health and fitness a priority. Currently living in Nashville, she has a personal trainer who incorporates running and kickboxing into her workout routine. In addition, the vegetarian said she tries to eat healthy every day and keeps a food log to track her meals. Carrie even gives herself a small reward on the days she eats well. "I give myself stickers, like a kindergartner," she laughed.

Underwood also told OK Magazine that she feels pressure to be healthy -- not necessarily skinny. "Last year, we did 148 live shows. We did so many concert dates. We were out on the road for months at a time, so for me it was a pressure to be healthy for myself, because if I wasn't, then I'd get sick or I'd have a lot of problems when I was on the road."
