Dieting during the holidays is a no-no -- instead, adopt a balanced approach.
The holidays are a time to spend enjoying time with friends and family, so don't waste those precious moments fretting about calories and carbs. Allow yourself to enjoy the treats of the season, but do your best to make up for your indulgences by eating plenty of fresh produce and exercising whenever you have time. Don't be too focused on losing weight either -- instead, try to maintain your current size and leave the calorie-cutting for the new year.
