Top 10 High-Calorie Frozen Treats

Whether it's creamy, fruity, doused with nuts or swirled, ice cream is a summer essential that provides relief from the scorching heat. But before you scour the freezer section, read our guide to high-calorie, fatty frozen treats to avoid. We've combed grocers' freezers to find the unhealthiest picks from the most popular brands. Delicious? Yes. But some of these treats top out at 30 grams of fat per serving which is almost half of your daily allowance of 65.
Number 10: Blue Bunny Personals Bunny Tracks
Serving Size: 1/2 cup
Calories: 190
Fat: 11 g
Sugars: 19 g
It's so easy to fall in love with the chunky, gooeyness of these peanut butter filled chocolate bunnies and it's even easier to devour the entire contents of this personal sized package that's small enough to fit in your hand. If you want to spoil yourself with this peanut-butter fudge swirled treat stop at a reasonable half serving.
Number 9: Ben and Jerry's Organic Sweet Cream & Cookies Ice Cream
Serving Size: 1/2 cup
Calories: 250
Fat: 15 g
Sugars:19 g
You might think Ben and Jerry's Organic line is a healthier option because its ingredients are hormone- and pesticide-free but that doesn't mean it's not fattening. A half-cup of this creamy cookie blend delivers a bigger hit to your diet than a four-piece Chicken McNuggets meal from McDonald's (90 calories and 12 grams of fat).
Number 8: Haagen-Dazs Butter Pecan Ice Cream
Serving Size:1/2 cup
Calories: 310
Fat: 23 g
Sugars: 18 g
Butter Pecan is a classic American flavor but don't think that just because it contains heart-healthy pecans you're getting any benefit. What you are getting from this sweet buttery cream and roasted pecans are one-third of your daily fat. That's like chowing down on medium onion rings from Burger King, although that option has 8 fewer fat grams!
Number 7: Rice Dream Mint Chocolate Frozen Pie
Serving Size: 1 pie
Calories: 330
Fat: 19g
Sugars: 14g
This little mint ice cream pie is great for non-dairy consumers, but the two oatmeal cookies dipped in rich chocolate and sandwiched together take away from the benefits of this rice-based frozen treat.
Number 6: Haagen-Dazs Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Cream
Serving Size: 1/2 cup
Calories: 360
Fat: 24 g
Sugars: 24g
Unfortunately two of the yummiest foods -- chocolate and peanut butter -- aren't so belly flattening when combined into ice cream. Haagen-Dazs' Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Cream sounds flavorful but half a cup will cost you more calories and fat than a cheeseburger from Burger King.
Number 5: Ben & Jerry's Chubby Hubby Ice Cream
Serving Size: 1/2 cup
Calories: 330
Fat: 20 g
Sugars: 25 g
Ben and Jerry have combined everything an ice cream junkie needs into one tub. This flavor packs peanut butter-filled pretzel nuggets covered in chocolate mixed with vanilla malt ice cream and swirled with fudge and peanut butter. Chubby Hubby, which started out as a prank played by two women on an office employee, has a calorie content that's no laughing matter. Half a cup contains almost 1/3 of your daily fat allowance, so if you eat it more than every once in a while it really could make you a chubby hubby.
Number 4: Nestle Drumstick King Size Baby Ruth
Serving Size: 1 cone
Calories:450
Fat: 27 g
Sugars: 34 g
Did you think something that boasts a King Size label would be healthy? The Nestle Baby Ruth Drumstick is bursting with all the chocolate, peanuts, rich caramel and nougat of a Baby Ruth bar in a crispy sugar cone sprinkled with chocolate covered peanuts. Its ingredients not only sound like a mouthful they are. You'd better stick with the classic Drumstick which will save you 110 calories, 6 grams of fat and 10 grams of sugar.
Number 3: Breyer's Hershey Kisses Ice Cream Poppers
Serving Size: 26 Pieces
Calories: 470
Fat: 35 g
Sugars: 23 g
What could be better than ice cream and Hershey Kisses? We like both but we don't really like what this will do to our daily fat and calorie allowance. Eating both will cost you more than half your daily fat intake and at least a 1/3 of your calories if you're counting or cutting back. You could have a medium chocolate Frosty from Wendy's and still have 60 calories and 24 grams of fat to spare.
Number 2: Nestle Tollhouse Chocolate Chip Cookie Sandwich Coating
Serving Size: 1 sandwich
Calories: 490
Fat: 23 g
Sugars: 39 g
No matter what your age is it's hard not to love this tasty snack -- it has creamy vanilla ice cream smushed between two chocolate chip cookies. Unfortunately, you may not love the calorie content of this cookie sandwich. That's because at a whopping 490 calories and 23 grams of fat you're eating the calorie-equivalent of a fast-food meal.
Number 1: Edy's Dibs Peanut Butter with Chocolaty Coating
Serving Size: 26 pieces
Calories: 510
Fat: 39 g
Sugars: 23 g
It's easy to sit and pop these crunchy chocolaty bites in your mouth and even easier to lose track of how many you've eaten. They're filled with peanut butter ice cream, creamy peanut butter 510 calories and a whopping 39 grams of fat (for 26 pieces). If you lose count and end up eating the whole container, you're looking at a nearly 1,200 calorie indulgence. One word: Yikes!
