Our Reviewer Says ...
"The LIFE Diet is a very honest approach to weight-loss that shows dieters how to change their nutritional habits and incorporate regular exercise to get results that last long after you've reached your weight-loss goal. "
At a Glance
The program is divided into four steps: Release, Relearn, Reshape and Reveal. Step One (Release) is a week-long program that asks dieters to follow a strict eating plan which includes having vegetable soup or salad before dinner and forsaking things such as sugar, alcohol, starchy foods with and after dinner, as well as salt. Step Two (Relearn) is a two-week program that follows the same eating guidelines, except dieters are given the freedom to add certain foods in moderation, such as artificial sweeteners, alcohol and frozen meals. Step Three (Reshape) lasts for as long as it takes to lose the weight you're hoping to shed. Dieters follow the same guidelines as Steps One and Two with a few changes: They no longer have to eat soup or salad before dinner, they are allowed starches with dinner (in specific amounts) and can eat an extra 150-calories a day. Step Four (Reveal) is a maintenance program that has dieters stick to the same guidelines as Step Three, but with a bit more flexibility.
