Even though it's a recession, people are still investing in fitness -- and you should too!
According to the most recent figures on fitness trends in America, people are still getting fit and spending their hard-earned money on doing just that. Home gyms are especially popular, with traditional exercises like walking, treadmill running and weight-lifting being the most common types of exercise.
That's not to say you need to spend a fortune on fitness -- investing in some key equipment and knowing how to use it is the best approach. Hand weights and a proper pair of shoes might be all you need to get fit, but if you're not sure where to start, consider treating yourself to a few sessions with a certified personal trainer.
