Dance and Be Fit: Lower Body Burn

Nobody can argue that dancers tend to have enviably long, toned legs. So, it makes sense that a dance-based fitness video would be designed to give you "strong, lean dancer legs," which is just what "Dance and Be Fit: Lower Body Burn with Kimberly Miguel Mullen" promises.

The video is 50 minutes long and divided into four segments -- a warm-up, cool down, and two 20-minute sculpting workouts.

Level of Difficulty

Beginner.

Next Day Soreness
None at all.

Who's It For?
Those who love dance for the joy and elation it brings them will get the most out of this workout.

Likes
The set is really pretty, and the three women doing the moves seem to really enjoy themselves.

Dislikes
My biggest complaint is that cuing is terrible -- often, instruction wasn't given until a new move had already been done for four counts. And, considering it's done through a voice over, it really seems like that could have been easily avoided. Also, there wasn't any burn at all. Although the video, at times, is very fast-paced, going from one move to another quickly, I didn't get much of a workout.

Bottom Line
It's not a video I'd spend time on again, but if you watch the video below and like it, you'd probably really enjoy this workout. It's not a bad DVD -- it's filmed well, and is designed to feel joyful -- but it wasn't for me.
