Pumpkin Seeds Make A Great Halloween Snack
Categories: Diet & Weight Loss
After you're finished carving the jack-o'-lantern, keep the seeds for a nutritious treat.
Roasted pumpkin seeds make a delicious snack and are a terrific alternative to candy when the urge to munch hits you. The best part? They're so easy to make, it's almost frightening.
Simply rinse them, dry them, brush them with a bit of olive oil, season them with salt or another favorite spice and bake them at 350F for about 10 or 20 minutes until golden brown, turning once. The result? A delicious savory snack that's relatively low in calories and much better for you than 15 tiny Milky Ways.
