My goal is to lose 50-60 pounds and get back to my pre-twins weight. I've gained all this weight in 4 years. I've tried diet pills, weight-watchers, sparkpeople.com, and other programs and I just can't seem to stick with the food portions or the counting calories, ect. I'm a working mom and wife, and have three boys, ages 9, and 4 year old twins. Help!

I had been overweight for the past five years. I had tried almost everything in the market, right from taking diet pills to enrolling in a gym but nothing really worked. Yes I did lose a few pounds but nothing substantial. It was then that a friend recommended Acai Burn ( Http://cli.gs/AcaiBurn ) to me. I have been using the product for about a month now and have slimmed down considerably. I have actually started to wear all those dresses that I had put off for so long. The product is definitely one of the best weight loss products in the market today. I have already finished two bottles of Acai Burn and am on my third bottle now. It totally changed my life! Not only did I lose a lot of weight quickly, I have also never felt more energetic and so full of life!

I came across this diet plan by accident online when I was looking up a calorie counter and it sounded very interesting so I decided to give it a try. I think it's the best money I have ever spent. Like any diet, it takes motivation and lots of will power and having people doing it with me helps out alot. This diet is so easy to follow...its all the foods you love and I feel like Im not starving myself. I am now used to drinking all the water it requires and to tell the truth Im not really exercising like I should..just some walking and pilates every now and then....and Im not looking anything like a shar'pei like someone said earlier. I'm not losing 9 pounds every 11 days like it says but that's okay. I think that much is a little too drastic. Ive been losing 4-5 pounds every 11 days which I think is pretty darn good. What I like most about this diet is the fact you get a 3 day cheat period where you can eat anything you want in moderation...this motivates me even more to stick with this diet through the 11 days and not to cheat until the cheat days. It's so worth it. What other diet is there that you can do that? I have promoted this diet to so many people and everyone I know who has tried it so far loves it. Http://tinyurl.com/easyfatloss

I've tried almost every diet, but just can't seem to last very long. I tried the South Beach Diet and actually lost 10 pounds, for two weeks, then it came back. I am an insulin dependent diabetic and I take blood thinners. I had cut out white and consumed a lot of green. When I had my regular blood test, I had the best sugars, cholesterol, lipids, everything came out wonderful. However, a few days later I had a test to show the thickness of my blood. Well, since I had been eating a lot of green on the diet, my blood was dangerously thick and my doctor told me to stop eating green immediately. I thought I could modify the SB diet, ha. My Endocrinologist said that being on insulin will make losing weight very difficult, but I must continue trying. I am having a hard time figuring this out.

does being pre-diabetic affect weight loss/weight gain?

I am a very senior citizen who has had many bodily betrayals since a major heart attack in November 2005 which required quadruple by-pass surgery. In 2007 I had breast cancer surgery. I now am troubled with severe pulmonary hypertension. I have two torn rotater cuffs and virtually no range of motion in either arm. I have fought the weigt battle my entire life and controlled it only with lots of exercise, folk dancing four nights a week for 35 years. My mobility is now very diminished and I have poor circulation. I had lost about 50 pounds after the heart surgery, but now that I have all of these additional problems and am unable to exercise or walk for any distance, I have gained a great deal of weight. I also find that my craving for carbs has grown greatly whereas my diet used to consist of lots of salads. I have yo-yoed thru weight watchers many times but now it is not possible for me to drive to meetings. The one near my home has closed up. SOS!

I know my biggest problem is eating the wrong things at the wrong time. Have never been a big eater. Depression set in after my husband passed away. Just trying to get back on my feet - both mind and body.

What is the best way to determine how many calories I need a day? I have tried several online calculators and have received answers ranging from 1,700 to 2,300.

I would love to have a nutritionist assist me...I have been struggling with weight for the past 10 years and going through menopause...short of starving myself...I don't seem to be able to lose weight and I know that starving myself is not the answer. I start off and then I stop...it is ridiculous...and my excuse is that I am so busy....

I've been told to multiply my goal weight by 10 and try to eat that many calories, but my goal weight is 110 lbs and I've also heard not to go below 1,200 calories a day. Which method should I follow to find out how many calories I should eat?

I'm fairly active - I take two Pilates classes a week and just finished my first half marathon. But I was diagnosed as wheat allergic last year and now I'm struggling to meet the requirements for whole grains. How can I make sure I'm getting all the nutrition I need while avoiding the ubiquitous wheat?

So my goal is to get my weight moving to a lower number. I feel like I'm stuck forever between 170-175. I am diabetic, but active. I play soccer, run, and I like to swim, and when I tell people how much I weigh, they don't believe it! I can get the activity component down, but I KNOW the food part is not consistent. I am on the run especially in the evenings, so even foods or snacks that I can keep in the car (that would obviously address my condition) would be a good start. Any nutritional help would be appreciated!

I have recently found out that I have hypothroidism and have been put on medication. Are there any nutritional guidelines I should follow that can assist me this problem? Thanks!

I want to lose 15 lbs., incorporate Pilates into my life at least 3 days a week, work up to running 5 miles 4 times a week, and learn how to eat without feeling like I'm missing out.

I've struggled with switching my diet over to a healthier one for years. It is such an emotional struggle when I try to implement a change and I wind up not sticking to it.
What advice would you give to someone like me who wants to change their habits and eat healthier?
Goal: Eat healthier meals and move my body daily!

My goal is to get leaner and stronger. After losing 50lbs, I plateaued at 183lbs, and have not lost a pound since then, almost a year ago, no matter how I change my diet or exercise.
