Don't drop your regular workouts, just adapt them to your changing body -- taking up a gentle exercise like Pilates will not only help you strengthen and maintain your core muscles, it will give you a much needed energy boost. And when it comes time to lose the baby weight, it won't feel like starting from scratch -- you'll already be on the right track.
Of course, make sure to consult your doctor before taking up any fitness routine, and if you're new to Pilates, you should begin your practice under the guidance of a certified Pilates instructor.
