A healthy diet and regular fitness shouldn't only hit the radar after you gain 20 or more pounds. Fostering these habits is a basic right of our youngest generation, and what better place to make sweeping changes than public school lunches?

Click on this video over at OneTray and you'll see why they're lobbying Congress to overhaul the 2004 Child Nutrition Act, which expires September 30. OneTray is seeking 20,000 petition supporters by tomorrow, calling for Farm to School Initiatives that align young palates and eager minds with locally-sourced food and creative, experiential food curriculum.

Be a part of turning that school lunch funded by a chicken nugget buck into a colorful, nutritional meal for your child, grandchild, niece, nephew or neighbor.
