Auntie Anne's Original Pretzel - How Many Calories?
Categories: How Many Calories?, Diet & Weight Loss
You shouldn't grocery shop when hungry. Same goes at the mall. But what if you're mall-starving and suddenly face-to-face with an Auntie Anne's pretzel stand? Even if you're counting calories, the scent of baking pretzels and a growling stomach are a powerful duo to ignore.
Logic tells you pretzels must be a healthier mall snack than ice cream or a grande frappuccino with whip on top. So, how many calories in an Auntie Anne's Original Pretzel?
With several flavors to choose from -- Almond, Cinnamon, Garlic, Jalapeno, Original, Pepperoni, Raisin, Sesame and Sour Cream & Onion -- it's a mind-twisting choice. Here are a few insights to make it easier.
An Auntie Anne's Original Pretzel with butter and salt has 340 calories. Drop the butter, and you're down to 310. Best choice? The Jalapeno Pretzel with no butter has 300 calories. Watch out for the 480-calorie Pepperoni Pretzel and 470-calorie Cinnamon Pretzel, those have as many calories as a full lunch, not snacks.
Consider yourself armed the next time a hot tray of Auntie Anne's attempts to overpower your willpower. And try to skip the salt, it's one of the Top 10 Belly Bloaters.

Auntie Anne's Pretzels are pure heaven. I try to control myself when I come across a stand selling them. However, once in a while I throw caution & calories to the wind & just indulge & ENJOY!

I definatly work at Aunite Anne's here in Ocala, FL. The pretzels are amazing, but veerrrrrryyyy bad for you. If there is one that you would want to avoid it would be the Cinnamon on, full of calories and sugar. So basically IF your on a diet, avoid Auntie Anne's completely even the no salted pretzels are loaded w/ fat. We have a colorie and fat intake sheet at our store,I'm sure if your curious just ask they'll give you one. =)

"Karren" is most likely an Acai company post to lure people into one of the biggest scams ever! WARNING DO NOT ACCEPT ANY FREE OFFERS FROM ANY ACAI BERRY COMPANY! At first you pay simply shipping charges, but within weeks you will start having your credit card posting charges from MANY different companies which are all tied to ACAI BERRY, NATURES ACAI, etc. Please be careful!!!

this is very true, it has happened to a lot of people including myself. I cancelled my card and was lucky enough that the bank reimbursed me the unauthorized charges. Remember, NOTHING IS FREE!!!!!!

I'm not surprised. I LOVE the Cinnamon Sugar prezel....but its not like i eat one every day. I probably buy one of those things 4-5 times a year. Eating something that isn't good for you isn't a bad thing, even if you're dieting....as long as you're strong enough to exercise some self control and make it an occasional snack instead of a weekly one.

Oh they are ok...some years back there was a little chain called "Hot Sams"...they made the big pretzels in front of you on the conveyor belt...then they would take one, put a stick in it and dip the salted wonder in...HOT FUDGE! It may be one of the best things...ever!????

If this is the way Bev Sklar feels about Auntie Anne, she must be ready to take a can of kerosene and a flame thrower to Cinnabon...

I had no idea that the cinnamon pretzels were so caloric! Thanks for the heads up; I will definitely avoid them in the future, and stick to the plain ones.

Eat in moderation that is the key and also have some cheat days like me it's Saturday for me. About 6 days a week I have fruit before my meals and I work out 5 days a week as well. I like Auntie Anne's pretzel there pretty good.
