I think all diet pills are bad and would have never tried them when I was overweight. When I was overweight I did a lot of research on pills and found them to be more dangerous then the weight I had on me.
Not only do they have dangerous side effects think about it if they do take weight off and if you reach your goal the only thing left to happen is for the weight to come back. Why do I say this? Well, the pills didn't teach you how to eat therefore you probably didn't change any eating habits, they didn't teach you any moderate exercise so you're not moving more. The only thing they did is cost you money every 30 days when you have to buy more.
The only way to truly lose weight and keep it off is a lifestyle change. That sounds scary and it really isn't. You can make suttle changes to your eating habits and exercise habits that in turn will give you a world of difference in your waistline.
See if you pick a natural program to follow you will learn about foods and what foods to eat that will help you and what foods to slow down on that don't help you. I didn't say cut out just slow down on. For example I am a big burger and fries lover. I could eat them for lunch and dinner everyday and sometimes I did! Anyway, I now still eat them just not as often and as a matter of fact I don't even miss them. If I had cut them out of my diet I would have craved them therefore I would have binged and gone back to my old ways.
Picking a program that is a natural weight loss plan you will benefit much more and most are a one time cost with lifetime benefits. With these types of programs you will not only learn about foods to keep and foods to slow down on you will learn tricks such as eating fiber foods and how they can be a huge help in curbing the hunger therefore you eat lighter as fiber foods keep you full.
While on my weight loss journey I ate almonds for snacks between my meals. It made a world of difference. I thought of it as kind of shrinking my stomach or training my stomach to take in less food and not to overeat. See almonds are a huge weight loss promoting food. When it came time for lunch or dinner I would be feeling pretty full so I would end up eating lighter and less.
Losing weight has been made out to be much more difficult than it has to be with all the options filling up our heads everyday we lose sight.
I lost 80 pounds with a natural diet program it only took me 10 months and I have kept it off for over 2 1/2 years now. I know how to eat and I don't deprive myself at all. Once you get in a routine and get the know how you can do it and believe in yourself.
Here is a site that has some really good information on weight loss, foods that help with weight loss, and much more. Good luck to everyone. http://www.journeydownthescale.info

i say yes to weight loss drugs. you cant lose weight by just dieting or just exercising, you have to do both and a lot of trainers and nutritionists recommend doing a cleanse before starting a weight loss program. almost all affordable cleanses are in pill form. liquid cleanses are more pricey, like izo. fda approval doesnt matter to me- every drug, whether prescription or over-the-counter has side effects. there is only 1 fda-approved drug on the market: alli. and alli has been linked to liver damage and has horrible side effects. being overweight is very unhealthy, and often leads to depression and poor self-esteem.so its worth it lose the extra pounds and keep them off
