Categories: Nutrition & Supplements

On your next trip to the farmers market, pick up some delicious and nutritious fresh corn.

Corn on the cob is everyone's favorite summer veggie, and while it's not at the top of the class in terms of nutrients, corn does have some vital vitamins, and it's relatively low in calories. Plus, it's got plenty of fiber to help cleanse your intenstinal tract, if you know what I mean.

Just make sure you're not loading it up with too much butter and salt -- otherwise, you're pretty much cancelling out any benefits of corn. Try it on its own -- because you might just find it's declicious enough as is!
