Kim and Khloe Kardashian Use Quick Trim

Less than a month ago Khloe Kardashian revealed her svelte new body on the cover of "Life & Style." She told the magazine she shed 20 pounds in just four weeks by "working out 45 minutes a day, five days a week and maintaining a balanced, practical diet."

Well, now it seems Khloe's rapid weight loss wasn't all thanks to hard work and eating right. This week, Khloe took to her web site and shared the real deal, "So as you know, I lost a lot of weight recently, and part of it was a result of my using Quick Trim." The youngest Kardashian sister goes on to list all four of the products in the Quick Trim line that she used, including a sculpting gel, a 14-day "burn and cleanse," a 48-hour cleanse and an "8-hour weight loss formula that burns calories 300 percent times faster!"

That's a lot of products -- all of which are touting fast weight loss. Most experts recommend losing just two pounds a week for safe and long-term weight loss.

The Quick Trim web site features both Khloe and Kim Kardashian, who are clearly paid endorsers. Yup, turns out Kim uses the products as well. "Using Quick Trim helped boost my metabolism and jump start my weight loss," the curvy reality star says on her web site.

These products aren't out yet, but will be sold at GNC stores (you can pre-order now). Caffeine seems to be the major player both in the Burn & Cleanse and Extreme Burn. Fast Cleanse is primarily a digestion-resistant polysaccharides and lemon juice.

The offer of having a body like Kim Kardashian is a pretty tempting one, but we're leery of weight loss supplements that make too-good-to-be-true claims, like "Jump Start Your Metabolism" and "Burn Calories All Day," which Quick Trim does. Plus, none of their products are approved by the FDA so it's impossible to say how effective or safe they are.

Not to sound like a skeptic, but they might be just making $$$ of advertising that product. I'd be more likely to try it had Khloe not got caught with Cocaine in her purse last week, maybe that's the real source of her weight loss?

Isn't this the sister that just came out and announced that she is pregnant? I hope she wasn't doing all this stuff after conception as the baby could be severely affected.

genius, it's "reality" tv, not truth tv. do you reall think she had COCAINE. If that whole scenario went down they way they played it on TV I think she would've suffered harsher punishment. I doubt she's a coke head.

Hi there,

Im not against using products to lose weight but I'd rather keep my weight regimen as healthy as possible. Living a healthy lifestyle is the secret, and that is the result of how I feel good about myself and my body. No secret, just exercising and eating healthy :-)

I used to be my ideal weight. Last time was at age 32. I know this because that's when I developed low blood sugar. Used to miss breakfast from time to time or eat lunch late and went from that sort of schedule to eating all meals on schedule and snacks in between to keep my sugar up. Then the pounds came on. I went from 170 (I'm 6'-1") to 185 in just a few years, then on to become as high as 205. Combining this is the normal age process of muscles relaxing and stretching without all that exercise we used to get as kids. Now, the so-called cummerbund muscle (transverse abdominus) is entirely too slack, allowing the contents of the abdomen to expand. Being a massage therapist, I know exactly what's going on, but this is a muscle that needs a tremendous amount of work to engage it again.

Can u explain more about this Joel? I am curious what to do for this muscle that gets relaxed with age and having children...I do go to the gym now but cant seem to loose the weight either.

Kim & Kloe, please stop the weight loss nonsense. You girls look great. Majority of guys do not want skinny skinny. We like CuRvEs. Shaeply and sexy. Just stay in shape, tone but don;t get into all this stuff that isn;t good for you health wise just to shed some pounds. Shed them by walking, running, working out, eating right. By the way, money isn;t everything either. I understand you are paid sponsors for quick trim but to really shed a few pounds and KEEP IT OFF while truly enjoying life and eating properly try weight watchers. Its that simple. But again, remember, there is a point you do not want to lose any more pounds and just maintain. You girls look and my wife may i add look FAB!

Its interesting how the title reads, Kim and Khloe use Quicktrim, but by the end of the article Khloe has been attacked for using the product but Kim is being praised for exercise. Didn't they both use that and exercise? Why throw one under the bus when they both did the same thing?
