Dairy Queen Peanut Buster Parfait - How Many Calories?
Categories: How Many Calories?
But the Buster Bar cowers in the shadow of the towering DQ Peanut Buster Parfait.
Ever had one? Soft serve ice cream layered with yummy hot fudge and crunchy whole peanuts. You'd better be hungry or good luck finishing this dessert.
Really, it's a meal in itself. So how many calories are in DQ's Peanut Buster Parfait?
If you guessed 700 calories, you're right. Beyond bursting with calories, that Peanut Buster Parfait is loaded with 30 grams of fat (16 g saturated), 94 g carbs and 16 g protein. Although DQ's thorough nutritional calculator says if you take away the peanuts, you'll save 110 calories. But then this treat just wouldn't be the same, would it?
If you're now craving ice cream, Dairy Queen Miracle Treat Day is today, August 13. Buy a Blizzard at participating DQ locations to benefit a Children's Miracle Network hospital in your area, and then plan for some extra exercise to burn off some of that treat!

And who cares??? We're turning in to a 'policed' society. If you want to have a 'treat', then everyone else, bug off!!! We don't have to eat tofu all the time.

You can make a healthy version of Dairy Queen's Peanut Buster Parfait at home by using Breyer's CarbSmart Vanilla ice cream, Smucker's Sugar-Free Hot Fudge, and Planter's Redskin Spanish Peanuts (Made with Pure Sea Salt). Assuming you use 1 cup of ice cream, 3 tbs of hot fudge, and 1 oz of peanuts, that comes to only 17 net grams of carbs and only 485 calories. It tastes amazingly close to the real deal that I no longer go to DQ to get my fix!
