Madonna's Arms - Strong and Sexy or Too Much?

Madonna's incredibly toned biceps have been a topic of debate for years. She follows a strict diet and a grueling workout schedule, and as a result, has very low body fat and plenty of muscle. Her dedication to fitness has always been impressive.

However, a photo taken of Madge earlier this week leaving London showed her arms looking, well, a little scary -- they were uber-ripped and veiny, and her skin looked like it was suctioned to the bones. As you can see in the picture, they looked totally unreal.

Some speculate that the singer exercises too much and eats too little. Others speculate that the photographer had a bit of Photoshop fun with the image before releasing it. After all, just the week before, she looked buff, but far from frightening.

According to The Telegraph, Madonna's trainer, Tracy Anderson, sees nothing wrong with the way her client looks, saying "Madonna will never look her age. She doesn't even look half her age -- she looks 19." Although, it's not often that you see a 19-year-old with arms like this.

What do you think? Is all this hubbub an overreaction to an unflattering photograph, or do you believe Madonna has taken her workouts too far? Or, do you like the way her arms look?

Pretty much the ugliest guns I've ever seen. Unless she's planning on wrestling a bear to death, there is no reason for her arms to be like that, ever. I'm all for supporting fitness, but I think she needs to tone it down quite a bit.

This is definitely photoshopped. Anytime one of these pictures or stories originates from a British tabloid, beware.

Madonna is probably the most photographed woman on the planet and there are numerous other photos of her during the same time-frame wearing sleeveless tops and (as you pointed out) she looks buff, but nothing like these doctored photos.

Give me a break.

It looks like the lighting is distorting what's there, and it's definitely not attractive.

I actually think Madonna is kind of scary. She needs to accept her age, and while she can have a young heart/spirit/whatever, I find it rather pathetic that she's clinging so desperately to youth. She needs to put on at least 15 pounds, because she's starting to look like Skeletor.
