In order to maximize the amount of flab you're burning from your midsection, you want to make sure you're eating lots of 'healthy fats' -- also known as monounsaturated fatty acids. Here are a few tips you can use to add these good fats to your diet and blast that belly fat for good:

  • Cook with healthy fats -- Olive oil, canola oil, flaxseed oil and sunflower oil will all do.
  • Eat healthy seeds and nuts -- think almonds, hazelnuts and sunflower seeds (minus all that added salt, which will just leave you feeling bloated).
  • Add avocados and olives to your daily diet.
