TCBY is treating dads everywhere to a free cup or cone on Father''s Day. This is a pretty good deal, because, well, it's free. Plus, a TCBY press release says, "There is arguably no better gift than one that's both delicious and healthy. TCBY's yogurt is low in fat and calories, when compared to ice cream, and is loaded with plenty of live, active cultures (probiotics) to improve overall health and digestion."
Now, frozen yogurt might not be an actual health food, but it's definitely a good option for the sweet tooth. And if you practice the few tips below, you can keep dad's indulgence (and yours too) a safe and smart one.
- Keep it in a cup, and avoid the cones (especially the chocolate-drizzled waffle cones).
- Make it a kid's cup to keep your portion under control.
- Opt for no-sugar-added flavors -- there's usually one featured flavor each day.
- Nix the candy toppings, and add fresh fruit and mixed nuts instead.
- Don't make a habit out of high calorie frozen treats -- enjoy occasionally as part of an overall healthy diet.
If frozen yogurt is not on the top of Dad's wish list, then consider spending a fit day together. How about a hike? We've got 10 other great gift ideas -- check out our Father's Day Fitness Gift Guide.

This article isn't for you to post a comment about YOUR business opportunity of fat-loss product. It's about TCBY and Father's Day. They're just trying to do something nice for the community. Geez. Thanks TCBY!

No Thanks. TCBY's are so far and in-between....I'd have to travel around 30 miles. It would cost me more in gas then the cone is worth. Not mentioning what you would spend for the rest of the family.
