Iodine Linked to Weight Loss and Gain

Getting enough iodine in your diet can help you lose weight, but if you've cut back on iodized table salt because you've heard it's bad for you, you're probably not getting your recommended 150 micrograms of iodine a day (220 if you're pregnant; 290 if you're breastfeeding).
