Sculpt a Thinner Face With Makeup

Darac Beauty offers a product called Feature Focus, and it's a face definer. It's a compact with just three colors, each with a specific purpose. The shimmery beige on the left is designed to forgive imperfections like wrinkles and discoloration. The dark brown on the lower right is used to frame your face (which is where those sexy cheekbones come from). And finally, the light, creamy color on the upper right is to help you forget shadowing -- light makes your face look brighter, smoother and younger, so you want to make sure your face reflects it.
I know what you're thinking -- this sounds pretty complicated. I like playing with makeup, and the idea of using it to change the shape of my face has always intimidated me. Images of harsh streaks of dark blush in the 1980s always come to mind. But, Darac takes the mystery out of how to make it work with a handy cheat sheet.
The cheat sheet is just like the diagram you see to the right, and it temporarily adheres to your mirror to make it extra easy to follow. It recommends you put it directly in front of your face, but that made me feel a little woozy, so I kept it off to the side. However, it's simple to figure out what to put where, and the actual application is a breeze. You're definitely better off using your fingers to apply than using brushes -- I tried both, and had much more success using my fingers. The makeup feels really light and clean, both during application and once it's on. And, most importantly, it definitely made my face look different and better.
The most noticeable difference was my cheeks -- the dark brown really created more defined cheekbones without looking like I had drawn on my face. I used it on my bare face, and I definitely think it would be even better when used over foundation and with your regular eye makeup.
Want to get a more defined face using Darac's Feature Focus? You can find it on their website for $39.50 or buy it from one of these retailers.
