Exercise - Yes, You Can Find Time To Do It

Categories: Fitness

Here's an interesting fact: P. Diddy says he conducts business meetings while he works out, he's that busy. You, on the other hand, can't even give up that tedious reality TV show you don't even like that much in favor of working out. Thing is, you see, everyone is busy and yet many still manage to find a way to exercise -- maybe it's time you did too. Here are some ways to fit a workout into your oh-so-busy schedule:

  • Multi-task. No, I'm not saying you should make a conference call while you run on the treadmill. (It's OK for Diddy, who probably works out at home, but for the rest of us, that guy on his cell phone at the gym is just a nuisance.) Think about it -- you could do push-ups during commercial breaks, quick heart-pumping sprints while you walk the dog or a few quick shoulder presses with soup cans while you put away the groceries.
  • Schedule it in. Just like you would a doctor's appointment, write a workout into your planner and stick to it.
  • Work it into your activities. Friday night is girl's night? Why not suggest a group yoga session before you hit the wine. Saturday is movie night with the kids? Wear them (and yourself) out on the playground with a game of tag before popping the corn.
