Gaiam Giveaway - Get the Support You Need!
Categories: Fitness
Many of us have aches and pains, but sometimes, they do more than cause a groan when we stand after sitting for too long -- often, painful joints can keep us from being active, which leads to weaker muscles and doesn't exactly contribute to optimum health. So, aside from asking someone near and dear to you to constantly massage the affected area, you need to get the right kind of support, and this week, we might be able to help you out. You could win either a Back Support or a Zeuba Vital Knee Support, both from Gaiam. Both not only offer support, but also provide circulation-stimulating compression to help injuries heal faster. They can be worn during rigorous activity or just while going about your daily routine.
The Zeuba Vital Knee Support has actually been used by Olympians for decades and features an athletic, visco-elastic massage ring that activates and stabilizes muscles, as well as an adjustable Turbo-Strap that exerts pressure on the thigh to improve coordination for running. And, as always, entering to win these great prizes is a cinch!

I could really use the knee brace for my right knee. After this year's marathon I banged it up pretty good.

I have bad knees from years of volleyball, but I'm only 47 so I'm always looking for ways to stay active/be more active. I would love to try this new type of brace. Thanks.

My son could use this for his knee. He plays lots of sports and it's always good to be prepared.

I think it would be my ankle. It used to be that I would go for a simple walk and if I stepped on unequal ground, I would twist it just like that...Hasn't happened in a while though (knock on wood!).

Three knee operations and a reconstruction at the age of 22. Sounds like a nightmare, does it not?
At least yoga keeps me active! I'd wear the knee brace whenever it rains or if I feel the urge to run up eight flights of stairs. Sadly, that's what I did on Saturday. The things we do. :)

The morning after my wedding, two years ago, I slipped and fractured my back (L4). I am an avid climber and boulderer and have gone through a lot of different back braces looking for support for bad days and or during athletic activities. (ie: falling off bouldering walls) Either way, I'm glad I found this particular model. If not won, I'll probably buy one.
Thanks!
