Spare Tire - How To Lose It Before Summer
Categories: Diet & Weight Loss
Bulky sweaters are great for hiding weekend chocolate indulgences. T-shirts and shorts? Not so much. So before you balk at your reflection in your almost-forgotten summer wardrobe, bear in mind these tips from the Daily Mail for minimizing your spare tire:- Trim down. You can do hundreds of sit-ups and have a killer six pack, but if it's hiding under a layer of fat, it won't matter. So your first priority? Cut calories and start working up a sweat on a regular basis.
- Cut down on the bad stuff. Thought you could get away without doing this? Nope -- you'll need to cut down on things like alcohol, sugar and especially bloat-causing salt.
- However, eat more of the good stuff. Eating more fruits, veggies and healthy fats will help trim your midsection in no time.
- Improve your posture. True story: It instantly drops 10 pounds from your frame.
- Avoid stress. Not only does it cause emotional eating, but it can cause your body to store sugar as fat.
OK, so it's not exactly the 'quick fix' you were looking for, but you still have time to lose the Buddha -- just get started, like, now.

These are all good points. I know my friend lost weight by just substituting 1 percent milk and cheeses for the high fat ones. The amount of fat grams is very different. I didn't know about the standing straight point. That makes sense as it tones the stomach.
