Here at That's Fit, we're constantly telling you what we think about things, but sometimes it's nice to know what you think. So from time to time, we'll ask you a question. Don't be afraid to speak up -- we love feedback.

When you're trying to lose weight, you've got to really get a grip on what you're eating, because many people find that they're consuming more calories than they estimated.

A diet diary can be a great tool for weight loss. It's also a big help when you're just trying to improve your eating habits. I know that I'm not one to keep a diet diary every single day -- I just find it too tedious. However, when I'm trying to lose weight or think my eating has gotten a little out of hand, I find it helpful to keep a diary for three to four days -- just long enough to review my habits and see where I need to make improvements. So I wonder ... do you keep a diet diary?

Do you keep a diet diary?
Yes, every day, whether I'm trying to lose weight or not.37 (45.7%)
Sometimes I'll track my eating in a journal for a few days.15 (18.5%)
Rarely. I have in the past, but I've never kept it up.15 (18.5%)
No. I don't keep a food journal.14 (17.3%)
