Diet Diary - Do You Keep One?

When you're trying to lose weight, you've got to really get a grip on what you're eating, because many people find that they're consuming more calories than they estimated.
A diet diary can be a great tool for weight loss. It's also a big help when you're just trying to improve your eating habits. I know that I'm not one to keep a diet diary every single day -- I just find it too tedious. However, when I'm trying to lose weight or think my eating has gotten a little out of hand, I find it helpful to keep a diary for three to four days -- just long enough to review my habits and see where I need to make improvements. So I wonder ... do you keep a diet diary?
| Yes, every day, whether I'm trying to lose weight or not. | |
|---|---|
| Sometimes I'll track my eating in a journal for a few days. | |
| Rarely. I have in the past, but I've never kept it up. | |
| No. I don't keep a food journal. |
