Trapeze - Fly Into Fitness
Categories: Fitness
Want strong core muscles, fit arms and toned legs? Why not fly into fitness like Molly Sims and Mischa Barton? Sims and Barton aren't the only celebs who learned flying skills at a "JUKARI Fit to Fly" class. Audrina Patridge, Regina King, Giuliana Rancic, Brooke Burke and Jaime King have also given this fun, new class a try. This unique, trapeze-based workout was developed by Reebok and Cirque du Soleil. And, don't worry, you won't be flying high in the air -- all the skills are done near the ground. That doesn't mean "JUKARI Fit to Fly" is an easy workout, though. During the hour-long class, you'll use a specially-designed bar called a FlySet.
You'll swivel, swoop and soar as your instructor takes you through a series of challenging moves. It's an all-over workout incorporating cardio, strength and flexibility. You'll work your abs, legs, lats, arms, glutes and you'll probably even work some muscles you didn't know you had. All of that, plus you'll feel like you're flying.
In the U.S., you can find "JUKARI Fit to Fly" classes in L.A. and New York. But classes will gradually be rolling out to Equinox fitness centers across the country.
What do you think? Would you try trapeze?
