Do you think your sleep habits affect your weight loss?

Yes! This is exactly what I've discovered myself. All those "lose weight in your sleep" commercials are true, except that sleep by itself makes difference, not whatever product that it's advertising!
Seriously, I did lose weight and become healthier by playing video games, eating tastier food, and sleeping more. Being healthy is about enjoying life, not about hard work.
