wendy'sDay 7: Before I headed out for lunch at Wendy's, I checked out their website. Weight loss always requires a plan, and since I love Wendy's fries, I need a plan. I quickly discover two things: Wendy's has a lot of healthy options, and their website makes it easy to plan a meal.

Wendy's has a lot of great salads, but you've got to be creative with their fat-free dressings to keep them in the competition. For instance, I love the Mandarin Chicken salad, but the dressing bumps it up to 540 calories and 25 grams of fat. They recommend the Caesar salad minus the dressing ... no thank you. But they do have a variety of sides: Chili, baked potato, oranges and a side salad. And on their website, they help you put it all together for less than 550 calories.

In the end, I choose a grilled chicken wrap (no sauce) and small chili. Not bad, not bad at all. (But not as good as their fries.)
