Q. Fitz - I've seen you offer advice for women with "love handles" before, but do you have any for a man? My whole midsection is flabby and I'd like to reign it in. Thanks, Lars

A. Hi Lars, Thanks for your question. You're right, I have answered this question before (to see that feature, click here for "Love Handles and Man Boobs." Love Handles, Man Handles, Damn Handles ... call them what you want, but my answer will always be the same. Those pockets of fat sitting above your hips are just that. Pockets of fat! All the silly side bends in the world won't make them go away unless you do one thing.

equmen tankThis one magical thing, my friend, is lose fat. Some folks carry fat above their knees, and some sport it under their chins. I've heard people complain about pockets of fat in virtually every part of their bodies and when I say "every part," I mean it. The solution sticks, though. Burn more calories than you consume, and fat will disappear from your entire body.

The one thing I am happy to announce, though, is that you now have the opportunity to get yourself a Mirdle. The Man Girdle, or Mirdle, is an uber-snug tank top you can wear under your regular clothes until you've melted away your fat with exercise and conservative eating habits.

I imagine half of you are giggling and the other half are intrigued. I think the Mirdle is an awesome invention! Men traditionally wear undershirts, so why not wear one that will make you feel a little more comfortable in your skin? Women do it all the time, which is why the term Spanx doesn't always conjure up pictures of brutalized children any more. Your waistline is clearly an issue for you, Lars, so I recommend you definitely give a Mirdle a try until you've achieved your physical goals. Start by doing some shopping and then get to work!

To get your mirdle, visit Equmen.com and look for the Core Precision Undershirt. Core Precision Undershirt sounds way more sophisticated, now doesn't it?

Punches & Kicks,
