Jamba Juice Smoothies - How Many Calories
Categories: How Many Calories?

We've all been there -- we're in a hurry, but we need energy right freaking now and we just don't have the time to do the whole sit-down-and-eat routine. I don't know about you, but when I'm running around, a smoothie is the perfect fix. They require one hand and absolutely zero concentration -- you can down one on the bus, while you're driving or even while you're walking to your next appointment. And, considering smoothies are usually made with some sort of fruit, they tend to be healthy, right?
What do you think?
The answer, according to NutritionData.com, is 909 calories in an original-sized smoothie. Sheesh! That's twice what an average meal should be in one measly drink.
Of course, the name should be a indicator of it's caloric content -- peanut butter is never low in calories. But there are plenty of diet-busting drinks out there that aren't obvious calorie bombs. Check out the surprising gallery below to see if what's in your cup is sabotaging your weight-loss efforts.

I know that eating just about anything in moderation is okay. It comes down to knowing when to stop. It is much easier to eat just a small portion of something than to try and lose the weight from overindulging. I know what it's like to try and lose weight. I lost 47 pounds in 6 weeks using the Rapidthin diet at www.rapidthin.com. Good luck to all. Use what works for you.

Well, Duuuuuhhhhh..... You mean it's a big surprise that a Jamba juice drink is high in calories? Just another stupid article letting all of us know what we already knew. I know what... let's report this to the health police so they can arrest us for making a free choice about we want to eat!! God!! I am so tired of this CRAP!!
