Want to try eating five to six small meals a day to see if it works for you? Here are some tips to help you along:- Plan ahead: You know, losing weight involves planning no matter what method you're using. So this really goes without saying, but having a plan makes the transition from three meals to five much easier.
- Split your meals in half. I did this a few times. I made my lunch as usual, then cut it in half and put half in the fridge for my next meal.
- Eat your veggies: A plan like this one is an excellent opportunity to eat more fruits and vegetables. Include at least one serving at each meal.
- Beware of overeating: Depending on what kind of eater you are, frequent meals could actually lead to eating more. Keep an eye out for this and be ready to change things up.
