Does an After-Dinner Walk Erase Your Splurge?

I think we've all had the experience of going out to eat and taking in a little more than we should have.
I remember going out to dinner with my sister once and thinking I did quite well calorie-wise. I ordered mini burgers (which I knew were relatively high-calorie, but didn't imagine they were that terrible). I substituted fries with a vegetable and only drank water. I also enjoyed greens, veggies and light dressing from the salad bar. When I got home, I checked out the restaurant's website so I could enter the calories in my food journal. Imagine my surprise when my meal totaled more than 1,000 calories!
Going for a walk after dinner is a great way to wrap up your evening, get in a little exercise and spend some quality time with your family (or just have quiet time with yourself). But can an after-dinner walk burn off any calorie snafus from dinner?
AOL Health has a fun quiz where you can guess how long it takes you to walk off some restaurant faves. You'll be surprised at some of the answers!
