Tracy Anderson - Weight Loss Tips for New Moms

tracy andersonWhen Gwyneth Paltrow gave birth to her second child, Moses, she turned to one person to help her get body back -- Tracy Anderson. (Though in Gwyneth's case, I'm not sure she ever lost her body. Have you ever seen an ounce of fat on that girl?)

In any case, it was a partnership that changed both their lives. Gwynny got her post-baby body firmed right up, and Tracy's honing her trainer-to-the-stars reputation. Luckily, you don't have to be a star to learn from Tracy, though. She's got a collection of fitness DVDs, including a new one for post-partum moms.

Tracy Anderson recently talked to Cookie about her own hot-mom secrets. Here are some tidbits:

Tracy's Method: Tracy developed her own fitness method -- which involves light weights and high reps -- after gaining weight in college.

On Food: Tracy loves to eat and thinks it's healthy for her kids to see her do so. "It's healthier for them to see that (dig into a birthday cake) than to see Mommy counting her Weight Watchers points," she says. "I think that's the worst thing we can do to our kids."

Trainer to the Stars: Tracy actually lives and travels with clients Madonna and Paltrow while training them. Her son Sam, 10, and his dad come along too.
