If you're trying to shave off pounds but the scale's not budging, it might be time to look at what you're drinking.

daily fit tipBeverages don't feel like food, nor do they fill us up like a meal or snack, so it can be easy to dismiss the calories they contain. But your body won't dismiss them, and if you aren't careful, beverages alone can pack on the pounds.

AOL Health has a gallery of high calorie drinks, and what they discovered just might surprise you. While no one thinks a Frosty from Wendy's or a McFlurry are good drink choices, convenience beverages like Red Bull and Vitamin Water also made the list.

One of the best things you can do for yourself today, right this very minute, is start pouring yourself a nice, tall glass of water when you get thirsty ... while putting all those other beverages into the "treat" category.
