Ashlee Simpson Loses Baby Weight with Pizza
Categories: Celebs & Entertainment
When she's not vigorously defending her older sister's recent weight gain, Ashlee Simpson is working just as hard at shedding some of the baby weight she gained with her first son, little Bronx Mowgli. But it's pretty tough to do when your husband is bringing pizza home for dinner -- and ladies, I think we can all relate to that. But Ashlee doesn't let it push her numbers on the scale up -- according to recent reports, she's been eating her share of pizza, but she loads it with veggies and sticks to just one slice. Of course, that's not all it takes -- if only it could be the simple, huh? She's following Jackie Keller's 30-day Body After Baby plan by engaging in low-impact exercises with Bronx in tow. Additionally, she has Nutrifit meals and snacks delivered daily.

Voted FHM's Sexiest Woman in the World in 2007, Jessica Alba admitted in an interview with Cosmopolitan UK that during her pregnancy she's never felt less sexy and couldn't wait to lose all her baby weight. Jessica gained 25 pounds while pregnant and said she craved all food in general but told Fit Pregnancy that she had a sudden desire for citrus based foods like lemonade and oranges.

After giving birth to baby daughter Honor Marie, Jessica dropped four dress sizes in two months on celebrity trainer Ramona Braganza's 321 Baby Bulge Be Gone plan. Jessica opted for a low-fat, low carb diet and also worked with her trainer six days a week. Whether you love or hate Elisabeth Hasselbeck of 'The View,' you have to admit, the second-time mom made an impressive physical comeback after giving birth to baby number two.

Just seven weeks after giving birth, Hasselbeck donned a bikini to show off her post-baby body in FITNESS magazine. Athletic Hasselbeck, who did daily six-mile runs before getting pregnant, joined La Palestra, a New York City medical and fitness center, to get back in pre-baby shape. Her trainer there had her warm up with 10 minutes of cardio on the bike, elliptical, or stairclimber followed by strength-training exercises. Instead of daily long runs which can lead to overtraining and injury, Hasselbeck alternated between quarter-mile sprints, two-mile runs, then sprints again, with a weekly run of four to six miles.

The always-stunning Halle Berry was constantly aglow during her pregnancy. Part of the reason could have been the fitness routine she maintained throughout that included yoga and swimming.

I eat pizza all the time and load it with veggies. Yet, I weigh 548. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Pizza isn't the best thing for a diet. She's only having one slice for one sitting, and the rest of her meals consist of the special diet food. You should cut back on pizza, and if you're drinking lots of sugary drinks such as regular soda, you should try switching to Pepsi Max or Coke Zero, they're diet sodas but taste very similar to regular. I made the switch and just from cutting regular soda out, I lost 30 pounds. (180, now 150) With excercise, who knows how much you can lose?
