Searching for a nutritious, good-for-you food that you actually like? Here's a tip.

Try a new food item every week. We're not talking new brands of cookies or potato chips -- head to the produce section of your supermarket (or the frozen veggie aisle) and try something you've never tried before, or haven't tried since mom served it to you when you were five. It must be healthy, so stick to fruits, veggies, whole grains, nuts or legumes.

Not sure how to prepare it? Google it, ask a friend, ask your mom or ask the clerk at the supermarket. Hey -- there's only one way to know if you'll like it or not, and that's by trying it. If you don't, throw it out. If you do, you've got a delicious and nutritious veggie dish to stock up on.
