Organic Junk is Still Junk

Trying to make healthier choices this year? Be sure to avoid one crucial mistake:

Believing that organic foods are automatically better for you. Sure, organic foods are made without pesticides and hormones and stuff, but they've still got calories.

Here's an example -- Tostitos Blue Corn Tortilla Chips have 280 calories in 11 chips. As for Organic Blue Corn Tortilla Chips? 250 calories. They're only very slightly lower in calories, so eating a whole bag while you lounge on the cough watching re-runs will still make it difficult to fit into your skinny jeans.

Don't get me wrong -- it's great that you're trying to eat healthier, but don't forget the first rule of dieting: Read the labels.
