Before you step on that scale, listen to these tips to avoid frustration when you weigh in.
Have you ever stepped on the scale at night, shocked to discover you've gained three, four, or even five pounds? Don't throw that scale out the window just yet ... you put on water weight as the day goes on.
If you're trying to take off a few pounds, weight fluctuations can be frustrating. That's why Jillian Michaels recommends you be consistent about how you weigh-in: once a week, on the same day, and always in the morning (and also, perfectly naked). That way, if the scale is up or down, you can be pretty sure it's telling you the truth.
