I was taking Taekwondo until time and money constraints kept me away. A year ago at Christmas my husband bought me a kickboxing dummy. I do a total at home routine with kick pad drills utilizing all the traditional kicks of Taekwondo and incorporate upper body with strikes and punches while holding stances for lower body strength.

I don't have much time at home and no gym in my area. I just bought a new treadmill. I get up by 5 am and walk 2 miles a day. I've been cutting down on portions and watching what I eat. I have already lost 4 pounds and 1 inch in about 2 weeks! Any extra help would be greatly appreciated!!!

I combine my workouts with a little bit of everything that I enjoy: yoga, pilates, martial arts, stability/medicine ball, body sculpting, weight training-whatever. It not only keeps me from getting bored but I find the endless combinations challenging. I'm always looking for new ideas to incorporate into my workouts & I think these DVDs would make a great addition to my collection.

I crank up the music and dance around the house while I'm doing housework. We also got a Wii Fit for Christmas, so the whole family has had a blast doing the mini workouts, and fun games. When the weather's nice or at least above freezing I try to get outside and walk or run.

I got a yoga DVD from the library and head down to the basement when I absolutely cannot drag myself to the gym (two blocks away).

Due to time constraints, I keep it simple at home. I alternate walking on the treadmill and Wii Fit. I love the yoga!

I try to do yoga in the morning when I wake up. On the days I have time to do it I feel great all day long.

I like to do housework with a backpack full of weights. And I lunge around the house, and use my abs to keep my back safe.

As a stay-at-home-mom, my most interesting and unusual workouts come from playing with and keeping my kids active and entertained at home - especially during our long winters. Lately, we've been playing the game Hyper Dash. We set the targets up around the house and add obstacles. It's a fun way for the kids - and me! - to get a little workout in.
