Today is the day. Yes, it's the first day of a brand new year, and that's darn exciting. But it's also the first day of America Takes It Off: Shrink a Size, which means you get to tear open the gift we promised you on Christmas Day. And tips for stocking your kitchen. And solutions for burning ab fat. You'll even find weight-loss strategies from The Biggest Loser trainer Jillian Michaels. And throughout the month of January, as you dive into all the resources ATIO has to offer, we're going to help you lose a few. Some of us may even join in on the fun.
Here's our goal: By the end of the month, we want to see an aggregate reader weight loss of 250 pounds. So think about how much you want to drop. And get ready. Need some motivation? ATIO has some right here.
Here's how it works: Each Monday, we'll issue you a challenge to help you on your way. Wednesdays, we'll ask you to weigh-in (don't worry, it's anonymous) and on Fridays, we'll reveal our reader weight loss results. Visit us at 8 AM on these days, and see how things size up. First things first, though -- go hop on the scale. You'll need a starting weight so you can marvel at the end of the month at how much progress you made.

Last year I stopped eating any sweets or sugar drinks. Just stopping anything that was obviously sugar, and lost 15 pounds. It was actually the easiest weight I have ever lost.

Hey Christian, great point... I tell people all of the time that you don't need to do drastic measures to lose weight. Do something simple and it will probably help you more.
