Recession Fitness - Get Fit For Zip
Categories: Fitness
With the current financial crisis, our 401(k)s are more like 201(k)s, but this recession may have the opposite effect on your body weight. Stress, lack of extra cash for a gym membership and no time because you're working two jobs can put a damper on fitness.Don't let the recession take you off course. Here are a few video downloads and fitness tips by Lara Rosenbaum at ExerciseTV to get you fit for zip. Nada. Nothing.
- Jessica Smith's No Time To Work Out Workout shows you three exercises you can do in just one minute, which you can gradually increase to 25 reps each for free full-body fitness. This slower workout is kind to joints a bit creaky from poor recession habits.
- Meaghan Townsend's free yoga workouts will ease away recession stress. Try Eagle Pose or Breathing to stretch, build muscle and melt away tension. Stress can make you fat, get rid of it.
- Free props work fine -- a beach towel makes a nice stretching/ab crunch mat, belts are terrific yoga straps and books work as yoga blocks. Do calf raises on your stairs and curl those shopping bags for the chest/biceps.
No recession can stop you from free glute squeezes around town, unless you're wearing spandex.
